- Barkers Neck Clothes are hand dyed. We recommend hand washing for the first several times to prepare them for eventual machine wash.
- The edges of the Barkers Neckerchief are left raw and unfinished to allow the cloth to dry quickly when hand-washed. After repeated washing, the edges will develop a fanned-out, frayed edge that is a feature of these clothes. Cut off any loose or long threads to achieve an even fray.
